POGO Was Born Out Of Local Partnerships

NEGRIL, JAMAICA

In 2011, POGO founders joined the work already in progress at the now named Elaine Allen- Bradley Paediatric Orthotic Foundation in Negril, Jamaica.

The team worked along side community and local nonprofit volunteers to address a critical gap in care for children with disabilities.

Today, this mission is a collaborative effort providing regular, high quality care to kids all across the island resulting in real progress toward independence.

RIU Hotels provides essential funding for facility space & supplies, and also lodging for our volunteer specialists.

TOGETHER with RIU and the local community, we ensure high-quality orthotic care reaches the children who need it most.

Your Community, Our Specialized Care:

A Partnership for Mobility

HOW WE COLLABORATE

We Provide:

A clinical team, donations of used bracing, footwear and specialized supplies

The Local Community Provides:

A space for the clinic and assistance in coordinating with families and local volunteers looking to learn new skills and help out their community

Local Businesses Provide:

Clinic and volunteer support in any ways possible

Together:

We create a sustainable, long-term care plan for growing children.

We are looking to connect with community leaders, clinics, and organizations that share our commitment to pediatric mobility.

If your community has children in need of quality orthotic care that isn't available though medical systems or local business, we want to hear from you.
